Medical/Dental/Vision/Disability/Life Insurance
All eligible Associates can participate in Medical, Dental, Vision, Short Term Disability, and Life Insurance benefits on the first of the month following 90 days of employment. Our comprehensive medical and dental plans give our Associates complete coverage through a network of preferred physicians. Our medical plan includes numerous alternative treatments, such as: Chiropractic, Acupuncture, and LASIK.

City Furniture provides Life Insurance options that range from a minimum of $10,000 per associate, which is included in the medical package, to a maximum of $500,000 that is additionally available. Long Term Disability is provided to all eligible Associates following one year of employment. Long Term Disability is a benefit paid for by City Furniture and is free to the associate.

Associate Assistance Program
City Furniture offers confidential counseling services free of charge for eligible Associates.

401(k) Retirement Savings Plan
Associates are eligible to participate the first quarter after 90 days of employment with City Furniture. Associates are able to contribute (pre-tax) 1%-60% of weekly or bi-weekly earnings for a yearly maximum of $15,500 for 2008 with the exception of catch up contributions. City Furniture offers a discretionary match that is 100% vested.

Vacation
Eligible Associates receive two weeks of paid vacation time after one year of employment. After five years of employment, Associates receive three weeks of paid vacation.

Tuition Reimbursement Program
Eligible Associates can participate in Tuition Reimbursement benefits following 6 months of employment for work-related courses. City Furniture will reimburse students up to $3000 for undergraduate courses and $4000 for graduate courses and 50% of text books based on state school rates and successful completion of the course.

Associate Discounts
City Furniture is known for providing great products at excellent value. We extend those values to our Associates by offering 23-30% discounts on furniture following 90 days of employment. After one year of employment, we also provide family discounts.

Continuous Professional Development and Training Programs
City Furniture believes in the continuation of training and the development of our Associates during their careers. We offer a variety of training options: Customer Service Training, Sales Training, Operations Training, and Leadership Development Training, just to name a few.
